Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE FRAME BETWEEN THE CAB AND THE BOX BECAME RUSTED DUE TO CORROSION BUILD UP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRAME NEEDED TO BE REPLACED HOWEVER, THE PART NEEDED FOR THE REPAIR WAS DISCONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000.
