Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS, THE FRONT TIRES SEPARATED AND THE VEHICLE FRONT END HIT THE GROUND. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED THE DEALER WHOM PERFORMED AN INSPECTION THAT FOUND THE LEFT TIE ROD WAS FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 13V528000 (STEERING) WAS RECEIVED MARCH 2014 BEFORE THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 80,800.
