Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 CHEVROLET TAHOE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE REAR BRAKES MALFUNCTIONED WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE FAILURE CAUSED THE STOPPING DISTANCE TO INCREASE. THE CONTACT DISCOVERED A PUNCTURE IN THE BRAKE LINE DUE TO THE BRAKE LINE MAKING CONTACT WITH THE FRAME OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 148,000.
