Consumer Description

I RECEIVED A RECALL FOR THIS VEHICLE IN JANUARY ABOUT A TIE ROD BALL STUD. IT SAYS "THIS COULD CAUSE LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AND/OR CRASH WITHOUT WARNING. NOW THAT SOUNDS KIND OF SERIOUS TO ME SO I CALLED THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE PARTS TO MAKE THE REPAIR YET. SO I'VE CALLED EVERY 6-8 WEEKS TO SEE IF THEY HAVE THE PARTS AND THEY STILL DON'T. I HAVE MOVED FROM 8TH TO 5TH ON THE WAITING LIST IN 6 MONTHS SO THAT CERTAINLY MAKES ME FEEL BETTER. AT THIS RATE I SHOULD HAVE MY POTENTIAL "CRASH WITHOUT WARNING" PROBLEM RESOLVED ABOUT NEXT JULY.....IF I HAVEN'T "CRASHED WITHOUT WARNING". THE DEALER DOESN'T SEEM TO BE THE PROBLEM......IT SEEMS TO BE CHRYSLER. SO, WHAT TO I DO NOW???? *TR
