TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD F150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE WHILE IT WAS PARKED. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT STATED THAT THE FIRE INITIATED IN THE ENGINE NEAR THE MASTER CYLINDER AREA. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V286000 (VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL) WAS RECEIVED AFTER THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
