Consumer Description

I RECEIVED A SAFETY RECALL NOTICE FOR MY TRUCK ON THE LEFT TIE ROD BALL STUD THAT COULD FRACTURE UNDER CERTAIN DRIVING CONDITIONS. I RECEIVED THIS NOTICE THE END OF DECEMBER 2013. IT IS NOW APRIL 29TH 2014. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THIS FALLS UNDER THE REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME AS STATED ON THE RE-CALL LETTER TO HAVE THE REPAIRS COMPLETED BY THE DEALER. I HAVE TAKEN MY NOTICE AND REPORTED THIS TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOTIFY ME WHEN THEY GET THE PARTS. NO RESPONSE YET AND I HAVE CALLED THEM SEVERAL TIMES. I ALSO FILED A REPORT BY PHONE ON MARCH 6TH AND HAVE RECEIVED NOTHING FROM THEM BY MAIL AS THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO. *JS
