Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE REAR AXLE FAILED AND THE VEHICLE BECAME UNCONTROLLABLE, CAUSING THE CONTACT TO CRASH INTO A DIVIDER. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND WAS TOWED TO SALVAGE YARD. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 41,000.
