Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 JEEP COMMANDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED SIX TIMES OVER A PERIOD OF A YEAR. THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS ALSO FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN FOR INSPECTION OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000. UPDATED 6/17/14*CN UPDATED 8/1/17*CN
