Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 3 MPH, HE HEARD A LOUD NOISE AS THE VEHICLE CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT AFTER INSPECTING THE VEHICLE HE NOTICED THAT THE TIE ROD WAS FRACTURED AND BECAME JAMMED AGAINST THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN VERIFIED THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE TIE ROD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 84,000.
