RE: SAFETY RECALL N49 / NHTSA / 13V - 529 ON MAR 12, 2014 I RECEIVED THIS RECALL NOTICE. I'M CURRENTLY WINTERING IN YUMA, AZ AND ABOUT TO RETURN TO ALBERTA ON MARCH 28. THE FISHER DODGE, YUMA CONFIRMED THE RECALL IS NECESSARY HOWEVER THEY HAVE 200 VEHICLES ON BACKLOG AND THEY RECEIVE ABOUT ONE REPLACEMENT PART PER WEEK. I THEN PHONED MY HOME DEALER (COCHRANE DODGE) AND THEY HAVE 6 PAGES OF BACKLOG AND ONLY RECEIVE A REPLACEMENT PART EVERY COUPLE OF WEEKS. I AM PULLING A 10,000 PLUS POUND FIFTH WHEEL TRAILER AT INTERSTATE SPEEDS FOR ABOUT 2500 KMS. NEEDLESS TO SAY, MY WIFE AND I ARE VERY CONCERNED. THE YOUR SAFETY RECALL LETTER STATES "IF YOUR DEALER FAILS TO REMEDY THIS DEFECT...WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME, YOU MAY SUBMIT A WRITTEN COMPLAINT". I THINK SEVERAL MONTHS (IF NOT YEARS) IS TOO LONG TO WAIT FOR THIS STEERING COMPONENT RECALL REPAIR. *TR
