Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE RAM 3500. THE CONTACT STATED THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE WOULD ABNORMALLY PULL TOWARD THE PASSENGER'S SIDE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE AN ALIGNMENT AND TIRE ROTATION WAS PERFORMED. THE DEALER ALSO ADVISED THAT THE TIRES WERE PREMATURELY WORN FROM THE SIDE, WHICH COULD HAVE POSSIBLY BEEN A RESULT OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 13V529000 (STEERING). THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN THE RECALL BUT HE WAS UNABLE TO HAVE THE VEHICLE SERVICED BECAUSE THE PARTS NEEDED FOR THE REPAIR WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT CALLED SEVERAL LOCAL DEALERS AND ALL ADVISED THAT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 21,000.
