Consumer Description

DURING A ROUTINE STATE INSPECTION, THE SHOP MECHANIC SAID POWER STEERING FLUID WAS LEAKING AND HE BELIEVED IT TO BE THE RACK AND PINION. OVER THE NEXT WEEK, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME ABNORMALLY DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER .THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE MECHANIC WHERE THEY STATED THAT THERE WAS A LEAK FROM THE RACK AND PINION, WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,580. *TR
