Consumer Description

I RECEIVED A SAFETY RECALL N49/NHTSA 13V-529 WHICH REQUESTED THAT I CONTACT THE DEALER AFTER JANUARY 6, 2014 AND SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. WHEN I CONTACTED THE DEALER SHORTLY AFTER THAT DATE WITH THE RECALL NUMBER THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PARTS TO CORRECT AND THEY WOULD NOTIFY ME WHEN THEY ARRIVED. I HAVE CALLED BACK TWICE TO CHECK ON THE STATUS OF THE PART AND WAS GIVEN THE SAME ANSWER THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PARTS TO REPAIR THE SAFETY RECALL. I WOULD EXPECT THAT IF THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THEY WOULD MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO GET IT CORRECTED. I HAVE USED THIS VEHICLE VERY LITTLE DUE TO THIS ISSUE. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP YOU CAN BRING TO BEAR ON DODGE TO GET THIS RESOLVED. *TR
