Consumer Description

MY 2007 FORD F-150 XLT 5.4 TRITON WAS BROUGHT IN FOR A ROUTINE TUNE UP. WHEN REMOVAL OF THE SPARK PLUGS 6 OF 8 BROKE OFF. THE MECHANICS ATTEMPTED TO REMOVE THE BROKEN PARTS BUT COULD NOT. NOW I AM TOLD I NEED TO HAVE THE HEADS OF THE MOTOR TAKEN OFF AND OR HAVE THE ENGINE REPLACED. THIS MOTOR HAS RUN FINE EXCEPT FOR MIS FIREING SPARK PLUGS. I TALKED TO OTHER MECHANICS AND AUTO PART STORES, PRIOR TO HAVING THIS WORK DONE AND THEY ALL WARNED ME THAT THIS MAY HAPPEN, THE BREAKING OFF OF THE SPARK PLUGS. I CAN`T AFFORD TO HAVE THIS MAJOR WORK DONE AT THIS TIME, AND I FEEL THAT FORD HAS A BAD PRODUCT IN IT`S SPARK PLUG.
