Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 3 MPH AND MAKING A RIGHT TURN, THE STEERING WHEEL SUDDENLY MALFUNCTIONED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED AND REPAIRED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO INDICATED THAT THE SHAFT WAS FRACTURED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING BOX WAS REPLACED TO REPAIR THE DEFECT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
