Consumer Description

MY CAR SHUT OFF WHILE AT A RED LIGHT WHEN TRYING TO GIVE IT GAS. RESTARTED AFTER A FEW TRIES. HAD THE BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR CHECKED AND BOTH WERE FINE. IT CONTINUED TO GIVE ISSUES AND FINALLY WOULD SHUT OFF WHILE GOING BETWEEN 1-10 MPH. TOOK IT TO FORD TO HAVE A TEST RAN ON IT, AND THEY SHOWED IT WAS A FAULTY THROTTLE BODY AND WOULD NEED TO BE REPAIRED. WE PURCHASED THE PART AND PAID FOR A REPAIR FOR THIS EVEN THOUGH 725,000 OTHER VEHICLES IN THE SAME MAKE HAVE BEEN HAVING THESE ISSUES. IT IS QUITE FRUSTRATING. *TR
