Consumer Description

FORD HAS A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH THIS TRANSMISSION. IT JERKS AND HESITATES. SEVERAL TIMES I HAVE ALMOST BEEN HIT WHILE PULLING OUT INTO TRAFFIC WHEN THE CAR WILL SUDDENLY JERK AND HESITATE. THIS TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE RECALLED AND REPLACED. SOMEONE IS EVENTUALLY GOING TO DIE BECAUSE OF THIS DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION. EVERY TIME WE TAKE IT IN THEY "REPROGRAM" AND NOW ARE REPLACING THE CLUTCH. I HAVE DRIVEN OTHERS AS RENTALS AND THEY ALL HESITATE TO SOME DEGREE. CLEARLY THERE ARE ISSUES AND FORD KNOWS ABOUT IT. THE CARS ARE NOT EVEN BEING ACCEPTED FOR TRADE INS BY MANY DEALERS (TOYOTA AND HONDA DEALERS LOCALLY WOULD NOT TAKE THE CARE ON TRADE IN). *TR
