Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT WAS SITTING AT A TRAFFIC STOP WHEN ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO HIS REAR, CAUSING HIM TO CRASH INTO THE REAR OF A PRECEDING VEHICLE. THE DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT FAILED TO RESTRAIN THE CONTACT. THE AIR BAGS ALSO FAILED TO DEPLOY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NEITHER REPAIRED NOR DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000.
