Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FORD F-250 TDI. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, WHITE SMOKE STARTED TO EMIT OUT OF THE EXHAUST PIPE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD BLOWN A HEAD GASKET. AS A RESULT, THE COOLER, EGR, AND HEAD GASKET NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,961 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 76,000. UPDATED 11/19/13*CN UPDATED 12/2/2013 *JS
