Consumer Description

AS I WAS EXITING RT. 35 TO INTERSTATE 75, A MAJOR TRAFFIC INTERCHANGE, MY 2010 FORD FUSION DIED AND I WAS FORCED TO PULL OVER TO A VERY SLIM BERM AREA TO SHUT IT OFF AND START IT BACK UP AGAIN. IT SEEMS THE THROTTLE BODY WAS "STUCK" AND IT HAD TO BE REPLACED. THIS WAS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN DUE TO SOMETHING FORD KNOWS IS AN ISSUE WITH FUSIONS. PLEASE ENCOURAGE A MANDATORY RECALL SO THAT LIVES ARE NOT LOST! I WAS FORTUNATE TO NOT HAVE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT BUT SOMEONE ELSE MAY NOT BE SO LUCKY. I WOULD HOPE THAT FORD WOULD NOT WANT ANY CASUALTIES ON THEIR CONSCIOUS AND WOULD FIX THIS KNOWN PROBLEM. *TR
