Consumer Description

CAR QUIT RUNNING IN DRIVE. DECELERATED TO A STOP. RESTARTED AND PARKED IN A LOT. I HAD JUST COME FROM THE DEALER FOR WARRANTY WORK AND AN OIL CHANGE. I WAS ON MY WAY HOME WHEN THIS HAPPENED. I WALKED BACK TO THE DEALER AND REPORTED THIS. THEY HAD TO GET A TOW TRUCK AND TOW IT BACK TO HE DEALERSHIP. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A BAD THROTTLE BODY. AS OF WEDNESDAY AT 4PM, THE VEHICLE IS STILL THERE WAITING FOR A THROTTLE BODY PART. MY INVOICE STATED "C/S VEHICLE'S IDLE SOMETIMES GOES HIGH BY ITSELF". THE TECHNICIAN [XXX], STATED ON THE INVOICE, 'NO CODES PRESENT, CANNOT DUPLICATE'. THE DEALERSHIP IS COUNTRYSIDE FORD, 24825 US19N, CLEARWATER, FL 33763 727-797-2277.
