Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 JEEP COMMANDER. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH THE VEHICLE DOWN SHIFTED VIOLENTLY CAUSING THE REAR TIRES TO LOCK. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES AT VARIOUS SPEEDS AND AT TIMES IT STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS SEVERAL TIMES AND EACH TIME SOFTWARE UPDATES WERE PERFORMED BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO RECUR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
