Consumer Description

WAS RUNNING ALONG AT 65 MPH AND CAR JERKED AND LOST POWER AND THE WRENCH ICON COME ON THE DASH. PULLED TO SIDE OF ROAD CAR WAS IDLING BUT ROUGH. ATTEMPTED TO PUSH THROTTLE PEDAL DOWN TO INCREASE ENGINE SPEED BUT NO RESPONSE JUST IDLE. SHUT CAR OFF AND CALLED A TOW TRUCK. TRIED THREE FORD DEALERS WAS APPROX. ONE WEEK TO GET IN. I WAS 750 MILES FROM HOME.TOW TRUCK DROPPED CAR OFF A REPAIR SHOP. MANAGER SAID HE HAD SEEN A CAR NOT LONG AGO THAT THEY HAD DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY AND ALL WAS FINE. THE SERVICE MAN WENT OUT TO CAR AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP WITHOUT LITTLE WRENCH ICON BEING ON. DROVE W/O ANY INCIDENT. *TR
