Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 ACURA TL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND ALL OF THE WARNING LAMPS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE HANDS FREE LINK FAILED, CAUSING THE BATTERY TO DRAIN. AS A RESULT, THE ALTERNATOR AND HANDS FREE LINK NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 119,000. UPDATED 98/29/13 *CN UPDATED 9/13/2013 *JS
