Consumer Description

WAS DRIVING ON HIGHWAY, WHEN MY 2010 FORD FUSION SE LOST POWER AND WAS JERKING FORWARD. I HAD TO PULL OVER TO SIDE OF HIGHWAY BECAUSE I COULD NOT ACCELERATE. INDICATOR LIGHT FOR TRANSMISSION PROBLEM WAS ON. I TURNED OFF THE CAR AND RESTARTED, AFTER WHICH THE VEHICLE RAN FINE AGAIN. HOWEVER, AFTER DRIVING FOR A FEW MORE MILES, CAR DID THE SAME THING. I AGAIN RESTARTED AND VEHICLE RAN FINE AGAIN, THIS TIME RUNNING LONG ENOUGH FOR ME TO GET HOME. WHILE DRIVING IT TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP, IT DID THIS AGAIN, THIS TIME AT SPEED OF ABOUT 60 MPH. VEHICLE WOULD DRIVE BUT WAS ONLY ABLE TO GO AT VERY LOW SPEEDS. DEALER SAID IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH THROTTLE BODY AND THAT THIS PART IS ON BACKORDER. *TR
