Consumer Description

THE VEHICLE WAS BEING DRIVEN FOR APPROXIMATELY 300 MILES WHEN WHILE ATTEMPTING TO PASS ANOTHER VEHICLE (ACCELERATING FROM ~50 MPH TO ~65 MPH) THE ENGINE LOST ALL POWER. AS THE VEHICLE COASTED BACK INTO THE LANE OF TRAVEL POWER WAS RESTORED TO THE ENGINE. THE FOLLOWING WEEK THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY BILL BROWN FORD IN LIVONIA, MICHIGAN. THE DEALER STATED THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE BUT THERE WAS A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN FROM FORD FOR THE INTER-COOLER. HOWEVER THE NECESSARY PARTS WERE ON BACK ORDER FOR OVER 3 MONTHS. *TR
