Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CADILLAC CTS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS EXCESSIVE CONSUMPTION OF ENGINE OIL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEALER WHERE THE FAILURE WAS UNABLE TO BE REPLICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHERE WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS FOR THE SAME FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 72,000. *TR
