Consumer Description

MY VEHICLE DISPLAYED A YELLOW WARNING THAT THE ENGINE TEMPERATURE WAS HIGH, AND THAT THE CAR NEEDED TO BE DRIVEN AT MODERATE SPEEDS BECAUSE THE ENGINE WAS CLOSE TO OVERHEATING. I DECREASED MY SPEED FROM 30MPH TO 20 MPH, AND ABOUT 30 SECONDS AFTER DRIVING THE CAR AT 25MPH A RED WARNING LIGHT CAME ON THAT SAID MY ENGINE WAS TOO HOT, AND THE CAR STALLED ON ME. I RECEIVED NO PRIOR WARNING REGARDING AN OVERHEATING ISSUE. LUCKILY I WAS NOT ON A HIGHWAY AND WAS ABLE TO PULL TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I GOT MY VEHICLE TOWED AND I WAS TOLD BY THE SHOP THAT THE WATER PUMP FAILED, AND THAT I NEEDED A NEW THERMOSTAT. *TR
