Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1999 TOYOTA 4RUNNER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH ON A GRAVEL ROAD, THE REAR END OF VEHICLE BEGAN TO FISH TAIL UNCONTROLLABLY. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO REGAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CONTINUE DRIVING. THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE ENTIRE FRAME WAS COMPLETELY RUSTED, WHICH CONTRIBUTED TO THE SWAY BAR BRACKET DETACHMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 167,000. UPDATED 07/10/13*LJ UPDATED 07/15/2013 *JS
