Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, ATTEMPTING A TURN OR TRAVELING OVER A ROAD BUMP, THE VEHICLE WOULD SPORADICALLY EMIT A METAL-TO-METAL DRAGGING NOISE. THE CONTACT INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND FOUND THAT THE SUPPORT FOR THE RADIATOR WAS FRACTURED, CAUSING THE RADIATOR TO SWAY WHILE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO CONFIRMED THE DIAGNOSIS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 201,000. UPDATED 07/23/13*LJ
