Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET COBALT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR OPENED INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT ANY WARNINGS. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT ONCE THE DOOR WAS ABLE TO BE CLOSED, IT WAS UNABLE TO BE OPENED TO EXIT THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 85,000.
