Consumer Description
2008 FORD ESCAPE WITH SERIOUS STEERING WHEEL SHAKING DURING DRIVING. FEELS LIKE COLUMN IS GOING TO LOCK UP OR MAKE VEHICLE SWERVE OFF COURSE. WHEN THE CAR WAS STOPPED AND TURNED OFF, AND BACK ON SYMPTOMS WENT AWAY. HOWEVER, UPON DRIVING VEHICLE AGAIN, SAME CONDITIONS CAME BACK- VERY STRONG AND VERY DIFFICULT TO KEEP VEHICLE ON DRIVE PATH. WHEN GOOGLED- MANY REPORTS SHOW UP ABOUT SERIOUS AND EXPENSIVE REPLACEMENTS OF THE ENTIRE STEERING COLUMN ARE OUT THERE.
