WHEN THE MULTIFUNCTION TURN SIGNAL SWITCH IS USED, THE VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY ACTIVATES THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION INSTRUMENT CLUSTER LIGHT AND EXTERIOR TURN SIGNAL LAMPS. THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM, SYMPTOMS AND PART NUMBER INVOLVED FOR THE 2004 DODGE DURANGO SLT EXHIBITS SAME SYMPTOMS AND INVOLVES THE SAME PART THAT NHTSA ACTION NUMBER PE08059 REPORT DATE OF NOVEMBER 12, 2012 REFERENCES WHICH HAS RESULTING IN AN FACTORY EXTENDED RECALL FOR DODGE/ RAM 3500 WHICH USE THE EXACT SAME TURN SIGNAL MULTI SWITCH PART NUMBER INVOLVED IN THE ABOVE STATED RECALL. WITH COUNTLESS REPORTS OF THIS MULTISWITCH INCORRECTLY ILLUMINATING THE OPPOSITE INTENDED TURNING DIRECTION. THIS DEFECTIVE SWITCH CREATES A GREAT DANGER AND POTENTIAL DISASTER FOR MANY ON THE ROADWAY. *TR
