Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 BUICK ENCLAVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LIFT GATE HAD FAILED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE TRYING TO RETRIEVE AN ITEM FROM THE TRUNK, THE LIFT GATE FELL AND HIT HER IN THE HEAD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE SUSTAINED SEVERAL HEADACHES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE STRUTS ON THE LIFT GATE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
