Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 BUICK LASABRE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO MERGE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND RESTARTED THE VEHICLE AS IT RESUMED NORMAL FUNCTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND THEY STATED THAT THERE WAS A DEAD CELL IN THE BATTERY AND THE BATTERY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 139,386.
