Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 11V395000 (POWER TRAIN: AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: CONTROL MODULE TCM, PCM) AND WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIRS. AFTER THE REPAIRS, THE VEHICLE EXHIBITED AN UNUSUAL WINING NOISE WHEN SHIFTED INTO FIRST GEAR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR FURTHER INSPECTION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,000 AND THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,000.
