Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WHEN SHE NOTICED THAT THE REAR WINDSHIELD WAS SHATTERED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED DUE TO EXCESSIVE HEAT. THE FAILURE RECURRED ONE YEAR LATER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,219. UPDATED 9/18/12 *CN UPDATED 09/21/2012 *JS
