Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE WHEN SHE WAS INFORMED THAT THE BRAKES WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED WITHIN 10,000 MILES. WHENEVER THE CONTACT APPLIED THE BRAKES SHE WOULD HEAR A LOUD SQUEAKING NOISE. THE FRONT BRAKES WERE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 19,600.
