Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE DURANGO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE RPM WOULD INCREASE EXCESSIVELY AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESPOND TO ACCELERATION ATTEMPTS. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE WOULD JUMP AND ABRUPTLY SHIFT GEARS. THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED THE FAILURE TWICE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHERE THE GEAR SHIFTER WAS REPLACED BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 16,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 18,000.
