Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD EXPEDITION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER PARKING THE VEHICLE HE NOTICED A LOUD NOISE AND FOUND THAT THE VEHICLE WAS ENGULFED IN FLAMES. THE FIRE CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE RESIDENTIAL GARAGE, A NEIGHBORING HOME AND ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE POLICE AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WERE CONTACTED AND A REPORT WAS FILED. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC PENDING AN INVESTIGATION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 165,000.
