Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2007 DODGE RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL GRINDING NOISE FROM THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TIRE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHERE THE MECHANIC NOTICED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE BEARING WAS WORN DUE TO LACK OF LUBRICATION. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN I.D. NUMBER 07V038000 (SUSPENSION: FRONT:WHEEL BEARING) AND CALLED THE MANUFACTURER BUT THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
