Consumer Description

AFTER HAVING 3 OF 5 RECALL FIXES PERFORMED, BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT AND SOUNDS ACTIVATED. CAR LOST POWER AT LOW REVS. REQUIRED GIVING FULL THROTTLE TO ENABLE GAS ENGINE TO KICK IN AND GAIN ENOUGH SPEED TO SAFELY STAY WITH TRAFFIC. AFTER PULLING OVER AND TURNING ENGINE OFF/ON, PROBLEM SEEMED TO RESOLVE ITSELF. HAPPENED AGAIN IN HIGHWAY TRAFFIC WHILE ENTERING EXIT RAMP RESULTING IN A DANGEROUS LOSS OF POWER. RETURNED VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR. DEALERSHIP ASSURED ME THAT THEY KNEW WHAT THE ISSUE WAS AND THAT IT WOULD BE REPAIRED. 2 DAYS LATER ISSUE HAPPENED 3 TIMES. EACH TIME ON THE HIGHWAY AT APPROX. 65MPH WITH NOWHERE SAFE TO CONVENIENTLY PULL OVER.
