Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE EXITING OUT OF THE PARKING SPACE, THE CONTACT HEARD SOMETHING SNAP COMING FROM THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE WHEEL. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL AFTER THE SOUND. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 10V657000 (STEERING:LINKAGES:TIE ROD ASSEMBLY)BUT WAS ADVISED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
