Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 MERCURY MARINER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WOULD SHIFT HARD WHEN UP SHIFTING OR DOWNSHIFTING. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE TRANSMISSION, BUT THAT THE POWER TRAIN CONTROL MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPROGRAMMED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 78,000.
