Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 DODGE RAM 2500. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH THE VEHICLE TRAVELED OVER A BUMP IN THE ROAD AND BEGAN TO SHAKE. THE CONTACT STOPPED THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE TIE ROD WAS BROKEN. AS A RESULT, THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE TIRE WAS DAMAGED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE STEERING SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE UPGRADED TO A NEWLY DESIGNED SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000.
