Consumer Description

TL* THE OWNS A 2005 GMC ENVOY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FAILED AND THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHAT SPEED HE WAS TRAVELING, THE AMOUNT OF FUEL IN THE FUEL TANK, THE OIL LEVELS, BATTERY LEVEL AND VEHICLE TEMPERATURE, ALL OF WHICH THE GAUGES FAILED TO OPERATE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THE DEALER STATED THAT THE ENTIRE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT NOTICED NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ONLINE REGARDING THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND BELIEVED THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD ISSUE A RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
