Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING IN A SNOWSTORM, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOPPED OPERATING DUE TO THE HEAVY VOLUME OF SNOW, CAUSING THE CONTACT'S VISION TO BE OBSCURED. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY A DEALER WHO INFORMED HIM THAT THERE WAS NO REPAIR FOR IT BUT THEY COULD GET THE WIPERS TO FUNCTION. ONE YEAR LATER, THE FAILURE OCCURRED AGAIN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
