Consumer Description

WITH NO WARNING AND NO APPARENT CAUSE, THE REAR DRIVER SIDE QUARTER WINDOW DETACHED FROM THE CAR WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE. SINCE I WAS UNAWARE OF WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED AT THE TIME (I JUST HEARD A NOISE AND FELT SOME WIND) I DID NOT STOP AND AM UNAWARE OF WHAT IF ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE MAY HAVE OCCURRED TO OTHER CARS AS A RESULT. CLOSER EXAMINATION SHOWS THAT THE GLASS SEPARATED FROM THE BOLTS THAT HELD IT TO THE CAR. IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM ON LATER PT CRUISER MODELS (07V149000), BUT THAT DOES NOT APPLY TO 2002 MODELS. *TR
