Consumer Description

GAS HAZARD!!!! MY 2007 DODGE NITRO SPITS GAS BACK AT YOU ONCE IT HAS FINISHED FILLING. I PLACED THE NOZZLE FULLY INTO THE TANK AND CLICK THE AUTOMATIC FILLER IN PLACE AND ONCE THE NOZZLE CLICKS INDICATING IT IS FULL 1-2 CUPS OF GAS "BURPS" BACK UP SPRAYING EVERYWHERE ON ME, THE GROUND, THE CAR MAKING A GIANT MESS AND HUGE SAFETY HAZARD. THIS HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES AT MORE THAN A COUPLE DIFFERENT LOCATIONS AND I HAVE FOUND OUT RECENTLY THAT THE NITRO IS PRONE TO THIS. THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL ON THIS ISSUE AND DODGE NEEDS TO TAKE CARE OF THIS IMMEDIATELY.
