Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS 2005 GMC ENVOY. SHE STATED THAT THE FUEL GAUGE AND SPEEDOMETERS WERE FAULTY. THE FUEL GAUGE DISPLAYED EMPTY AND THE SPEEDOMETER DISPLAYED THAT THE SPEED 100 MPH WHILE SHE WAS ONLY DRIVING 40 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS NOT A RECALL; THEREFORE, THEY WERE NOT PAYING FOR THE REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 103,000.
